International travel is one of the most exciting things you can do as a fly-fisherman, after all is that not the reason we all fish, to find the places less traveled. Fly-fishing is a vehicle to see the most amazing places in the world. When traveling to fly-fishing destinations it is not the road most traveled.

Some of the lodges we travel to have amazing facilities and offer more of a pampered in paradise experience. There are also lodges that will fit the pocketbook as well. Theses lodges are some of my personal favorites. The guides are great and it is more of an adventure, we just remove the pampered portion of the trip and focus on great fishing with local guides. Through a lot of research we have found a handful of lodges that provide great fishing, food and an enjoyable atmosphere without breaking the bank. Robert Monroe hosts all trips.   As a fly-fisherman, I have the same desires and expectations for these destinations as every one of our guests.
